Seeking Award Nominations

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority (SSCVA) is seeking nominations to honor individuals who serve customers on a daily basis and who continually go above and beyond to create a positive impact and lasting impression on the experience a guest or visitor has in Northwest Indiana.

The 16th annual R.O.S.E. and R.I.S.E. Awards Dinner, presented by the SSCVA will take place on Thursday, September 22 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center in Merrillville. Selected finalists will be presented with a rose at their workplace. On the day of the event they will be escorted by Epic Limo of Valparaiso to an afternoon of pampering at Beauty and the Beach in Crown Point. Winners will be announced at the dinner and receive a prize package valued at more than $1,000.

The R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) awards honor front-line employees while the R.I.S.E (Recognition of Industry Success & Excellence) awards honor managerial or past R.O.S.E. award recipients.

Submit your nomination today at www.rose-awards.com. Supporting documents such as comment cards or photos can also be uploaded with online nominations. All nominations submitted after August 6th will be eligible for the 2023 awards. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
