The South Bend Civic Theatre has updated its 2026 production schedule, replacing the previously announced Our Lady of the Tortilla with The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again], running June 5–14, 2026, in the Warner Studio.
Directed by Kevin Dreyer, this fast-paced comedy takes audiences on a hilarious whirlwind tour through all of Shakespeare’s greatest works at a speed the Bard himself could never have imagined. From epic tragedies and swoon-worthy romances to chaotic comedies and everything in between, three fearless actors race through the entire Shakespearean canon with lightning-fast costume changes, outrageous improvisation, and audience interaction woven throughout.
Packed with wit, energy, and theatrical mayhem, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] offers a fresh, irreverent take on classic literature, making it equally entertaining for lifelong Shakespeare fans and newcomers alike.
Performances will take place in the Warner Studio located at the South Bend Civic Theatre, 403 N Main Street, downtown South Bend. Evening showtimes are June 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13 at 7:30pm. Matinees are June 7 and 14 at 2:00pm. A pay-what-you-can preview performance will take place on June 4 at 7:30PM.
