Mark your calendars and grab your favorite fan gear. The 2025 Best Sports Team in the Region is back in action for their second home bout of the season on Saturday, June 21 at Bulldog Park! Get ready for a high-energy, full-contact double-header featuring two of Northwest Indiana’s fiercest roller derby teams.
The evening kicks off when doors open at 5:00 PM with the first whistle at 5:30 PM. The Runaways will take on the Windy City Rollers Third Coast after defeating them in Crown Point in 2023, followed by a Midwest showdown as the Derailers face off against Root River Roller Derby from Racine, Wisconsin.
This is more than just a night of adrenaline-pumping action; it’s a family-friendly event with purpose. General admission is just $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5–12, and free for children under 5. Seating is limited, so bring your own chair and settle in for a night of excitement. Concessions will be available onsite to keep you fueled between jams.
This bout supports more than just our skaters. A portion of proceeds will benefit Indiana Kids Belong, supporting children in foster care. Fans are also encouraged to bring donation items for Indiana Youth Group (IYG), an organization serving LGBTQ+ youth. A full list of suggested items can be found on our social media channels.
