Fifth grade students at Eads, Elliott, and Frank Hammond Elementary School will begin the core curriculum of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) starting this month. The program consists of ten lessons, a D.A.R.E. Role Models visit, and a graduation in May.
Pre-school, kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade students at St. Thomas More and St. Paul’s Lutheran School will also receive safety visits this semester on a variety of important topics like stranger-danger, internet safety, bullying prevention, seat belts, calling 911, and more.
Eighth grade students at Wilbur Wright Middle School who did not go through the secondary D.A.R.E. curriculum this past fall will receive instruction this semester. We look forward to beginning our 36TH YEAR of D.A.R.E.! Thank you to all of the parents, schools, and sponsors for your continued support!
