The Munster Police Department and public elementary schools recently held their annual Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Graduation ceremonies at Elliott, Frank Hammond, and Eads Elementary School to celebrate their fifth graders completion of the core curriculum of the program.
The events included special speakers, certificates, awards, special songs, and receptions.
The Munster Police Department would like to congratulate each of this year’s fifth grade D.A.R.E. graduates and award winners and thank all of the parents and staff members for their attendance and support.
We would also like to thank the many sponsors of our program who have helped to keep our D.A.R.
E. Program running strong for 38 years (since 1988).
We look forward to beginning classes again with our students (pre K-8th) again this fall.
