
Aurora’s long popular, low cost Downtown Alive! concert series returns to RiverEdge Park in 2023 with two popular music acts, Too Hype Crew on Friday, June 30, and 7th heaven on Friday, July 7.
Too Hype Crew is a tribute to old school '80s, '90s, early '00s hip hop, featuring all live music from a six-piece band plus choreographed “Fly Girl” dancers, all packaged in a family friendly way.
7th heaven, a Chicagoland pop rock staple for 38 years, is best known for their signature “30 Songs in 30 Minutes” medley of hits from the '70s and '80s.
Both shows offer a budget-friendly way to end the work week, enjoying live music with friends and family on a warm summer night along the banks of the beautiful Fox River.

Purchase tickets before June 1 to take advantage of early bird discounts. Tickets for each concert are only $2 early bird; $5 regular. Both concerts start at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The band has toured the world playing the U.K., Amsterdam, Panama, Mexico and all over the U.S. The band has rocked Vegas numerous times, and played on 18 international cruise ships. How to rock your RiverEdge Park experience
For Blues on the Fox, the entire park is general admission, with limited bench seating on the sides of the stage and standing room in between. Bench seating is first come, first served. The rest of the park is general admission for bag chairs. Bag chairs and blankets are also allowed on the lawn areas. Children 12 and under are admitted free to Blues on the Fox. Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older, and can get a free ticket from any ticket booth located outside all RiverEdge Park gates.
RiverEdge is located right across the street from Metra’s Aurora Transportation Center. Drivers can find paid parking in the Metra lot, with more public and private lots around the park and in downtown Aurora. Concessions include a diverse menu and bar with domestic and craft beers, wine, sodas, bottled water and more. Local food trucks also ring the back lawn. Outside food is welcome. No alcohol or other outside beverages are allowed, with the exception of two sealed bottles of unflavored water per person.
