The Munster Police Department would like to thank everyone who came out to help support our K-9 Unit this past Saturday, August 27th in the parking lot of Buttermilk Pancake House (805 Ridge Road).
K-9’s Vader, Lucy, and Skye loved all of the extra attention. With the help of State Representative Mike Andrade, several local businesses, and many community members we were able to raise over $2,500 to help fun our K-9 Unit. These funds will go towards food, vet care, training, and equipment for our K-9’s. Without the support of the community, our K-9 Unit would not be possible.
