Truluck’s Shares Thanksgiving Dinner Menu

Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood and Crab will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, to accommodate holiday diners in search of a trusted special occasion experience. Known for its exceptional service and always fresh, meticulously prepared seafood, Truluck’s has become one of the Chicago area’s premier special occasion dining destinations.

Truluck’s will be hosting a three-course, specialty Thanksgiving menu filled with warm, seasonal flavors, available for $59 for adults and $29 for young adults (12 and under). For the first course, diners can choose between Cauliflower-Brown Butter Soup topped with chive oil, a Little Gem Caesar Salad, or a Sonoma Greens Salad built with goat cheese, dried cranberries, spiced pecans, and a honey vinaigrette.  

Moving into the second course, diners will be spoiled with an upscale take on home-cooked favorites, including an Herb-Roasted Turkey Breast served with parmesan mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, broccoli-rice casserole, giblet gravy, and a cranberry apple compote. This main course can also be purchased as a “To Go Leftovers” option, which is separate from the three-course offering. Add-on family-style sides include king crab mac & cheese, lyonnaise potatoes, pan-seared broccoli, creamed spinach, and asparagus.

Rounding out Thanksgiving Dinner, diners have an option between Warm Bourbon Apple-Spiced Butter Cake and the award-winning Truluck’s Carrot Cake. If you’re looking for a tasty drink to accompany your meal, Truluck’s has created a list of wine recommendations as well as a Hearthside Old Fashioned. This twist on a classic cocktail features Wild Turkey bourbon and house-spiced orange syrup to tingle the taste buds in all the right ways.

Quintessential Truluck’s menu items will still be available to all diners. Most notably, Florida Stone Crab is back at all Truluck’s locations. There’s simply no mistaking the one-of-a-kind taste of fresh Florida Stone Crab claws. The unique texture and sweet flavor profile have created legions of devotees. Truluck’s serves the claws fully cooked, chilled, pre-cracked, and ready to devour. Stone Crab can be ordered a la carte by the claw as an appetizer or a meal enhancement, as well as a full entrée, all served with our house specialty mustard sauce. Other fan favorites, including Hand-Cut Steaks, Miso-Glazed Sea Bass, Prime King Crab, Cold-Water Lobster Tail, and a robust bar menu, remain permanent fixtures.
