The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, the economic development organization for the neighborhoods’ commercial districts, announces that the 2025–2026 Wicker Park Farmers Market will move indoors for the winter season. Formerly held at The Robey, the market will now take place at Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club (1750 N. Milwaukee Ave.) for the first time. Beginning Sunday, Dec. 7, the market will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following Sundays:
- December: 7, 14, 28
- January: 4, 18
- February 1, 15
- March: 1, 15, 29
Following a bustling summer market season, the Wicker Park Farmers Market will continue indoors, giving Chicagoans the chance to stock up on fresh produce and local goods throughout the winter. This year’s expanded lineup of vendors will feature items such as meat, eggs, produce, pressed juice, coffee, handmade jewelry, candles and more. The market not only offers residents an opportunity to support local businesses and purchase environmentally responsible goods but also allows small producers to share their stories and educate shoppers about sustainable nutrition.
“The move to Royal Palms marks an exciting new chapter for the Wicker Park Farmers Market,” said Pamela Maass, Executive Director of the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce. “With an expanded space, more local vendors than ever before, and new programming designed to engage families in our community, this venue gives us the opportunity to grow the market’s impact while keeping its welcoming, neighborhood feel.”
During the farmer’s market, Royal Palms will open its doors weekly to families for its new all-ages Family Sundays inside the venue’s normally 21+ tropical oasis. Kids ages 8 and up can learn how to shuffle with a quick lesson before taking to the courts, while grown-ups can kick back in cabanas with a piña colada or tropical mocktail in hand.
Guests can also enjoy oversized board games like giant Jenga and Connect Four throughout the space and soak up the vacation-in-the-city vibes with friends and family. Walk-in courts are $50 per hour, per court (plus taxes and fees), and guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Families can also enjoy story time sessions hosted by local non-profit Cruelty Free You + Me from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Additionally, yoga sessions will be offered through December from 9 – 9:45 a.m. to kick-start the market season. Guests must register in advance with a $20 participation fee, which includes a complimentary post-yoga drink. Participants must bring their own yoga mats and water bottles, and are advised to arrive 10 minutes early. All yoga sessions are 18+.
