In honour of the Bardâs birthday month and Jessie Buckleyâs Oscar win, weâre taking William Shakespeareâs HAMLET to the (Book) Club!
Inspired by what is widely considered the âmost powerful and influential tragedies in the English language,â weâll use music and mirth to unpack daddy issues, plays-within-plays and melancholic great Danes. Perhaps weâll finally answer that age-olde question: to Book Club... or not to Book Club?
Our Elizabethan edition includes Caitlyn Cerza, Emily McCormick, Gavin Rhys, Jack Saunders and Peter Stielstra, with accompaniment by Nick Sula and mad ramblings by Derek Van Barham.

It is a cabaret-style set list of songs inspired by the original text, interspersed with commentary, fun facts, excerpts from the script and other thematically-relevant material. The runtime is usually 75-90 minutes. Itâs fun. Trust. đ
