Aville Grows is pleased to host Rooted in Song, a cabaret fundraiser for Andersonville’s new community garden project, on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 7 pm – 8:30 pm at Bramble Arts Loft, 5545 N. Clark St. in Chicago. Door open at 6:30 pm. Tickets ($40) are available here.
Directed and hosted by Broadway’s David Rossetti with music direction by Alex Newkirk, the evening features over a dozen Chicago performers including Midsommarfest favorites Amanda & Justin Horvath-Adair (Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute) and Adam LeBlanc (16 Candles Band). Additional performers include Frankie Leo Bennett, Patrick Byrnes, Kailey Azure Green, Jacquelyne Jones, Rob Lindley, Gabriel Mudd, Kelly Felthous, Dan Ferretti, Jennifer Femme, Paul James Lang, Juwon Tyrel Perry and Abby C. Smith. Audiences will enjoy classics like Everything’s Coming Up Roses, Somewhere That’s Green and Let the Sunshine In, as well as original tunes and special musical arrangements created just for this event.

Aville Grows will transform two vacant lots at 5339 and 5347 N. Ashland Ave. into a shared green space, featuring more than 30 organic gardening beds, pollinator spaces, a shared food forest and a communal gathering hub.
Backed by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and Andersonville Sustainable Community Alliance (ASCA), Aville Grows will also host free workshops (for all ages!), cooking classes, art and music events, mutual-aid programs and much more — all designed to strengthen community ties and create a greener, healthier Chicago.
