“Meals on Wheels is honored to be selected this year by our good friends at Pete and Sons. Pete and Sons is a family-owned business that has invested in the Meals on Wheels mission for many years, and we are so grateful,” said Sandra Noe, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana.
The classic car show was founded by Zach Breuckman, who is a third generation part owner of Pete and Son’s. Zach grew up in and around his family’s shop for as long as he can remember, and found an ever-growing interest in the industry as he grew older. After attending Wabash College for 4 years he decided to head back to Crown Point and dive into the family business. Zach had always thought that hosting a Car show would be very cool, and it was at that time he decided to start planning Pete and Son’s 1st Annual Charity Car and Bike Show.
“We’ve organized this event to support Meals on Wheels’ fleet that delivers 350,000 healthy meals a year across five NWI counties,” said Breuckman. “It’s a fun opportunity to showcase your nice ride and maybe even win a prize, or just enjoy a family-friendly afternoon checking out cool cars and custom bikes.”
Businesses interested in being part of the event by donating a prize for the winners or sponsoring can contact Zach Breuckman at peteandsons@sbcglobal.net or 219-663-1484.
