As part of its Lunch and Learn series, on Tuesday, November 18th, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. ET, (11:00 am - 12:00 pm) the Indiana State Library will present "Introduction to Native American Research."

Indiana State Library Lunch and Learn Series 2025: Introduction to Native American ResearchAttendees will learn about basic methodologies of Native American research using federal, state and local records and the various repositories that hold those records. The history of tribes in the U.S. and their movements will also be discussed. 

Presenter Sarah Pfundstein is a longtime genealogy librarian at the Indiana State Library.

The in-person portion of this hybrid event will take place in the Indiana State Library's History Reference Room. The virtual portion will take place via Zoom.
