Theory of a Deadman and Sevendust are coming to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s Hard Rock Live venue on Friday, August 21, 2026. Doors open at 6 p.m. Return to Dust is the supporting act.
With sky-high hooks, riffs as thick as a 2x4, rumbling grooves, and a razor-sharp sense of humor, Theory of a Deadman ha quietly persisted as an unapologetic, unbreakable, and undeniable hard rock force with major multiplatinum hits and countless sold out shows in each of the past two decades. Jamming together in basements throughout high school, the band burst out of their small hometown of North Delta, British Columbia with the self-titled, Theory of a Deadman, during 2002.
In addition to the double-platinum breakthrough album Scars & Souvenirs (2008) and gold-certified The Truth Is… (2011), they have notched a procession of hits, including the gold-certified “All Or Nothing,” “Bitch Came Back,” and “Lowlife,” platinum-certified “Angel,” “Hate My Life,” and “Not Meant To Be,” double-platinum “Bad Girlfriend,” and triple-platinum “RX (Medicate).” As the biggest smash of their career this far, the latter marked their third #1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and garnered a nomination for “Rock Song of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
They have logged two Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. In 2020, “Say Nothing” landed at #2 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart and #3 on the Rock Albums Chart. Plus, it earned praise from American Songwriter, Billboard, and Classic Rock Magazine who awarded it “4-out-of-5 stars.”
Now, the award-winning quartet—Tyler Connolly (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Brenner (guitar, backing vocals), Dean Back (bass), and Joey Dandeneau (drums, backing vocals)—once again deliver a barrage of anthems, beginning with the single “Dinosaur” and more to come.

Sevendust never follows a linear path. Instead, they continue to bulldoze a lane of their own with a proven one-two punch of rumbling grooves, unpredictable riffing, and stirringly soulful vocals unlike anything else in hard rock. As a result, their music connects straight to the heart as evidenced by their full-contact live shows and diehard “family” of fans. It’s why they’ve been around since 1994, tallied global sales of seven million, logged three gold-selling albums, delivered three Top 15 debuts on the Billboard 200, and garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Metal Performance.”

They’re the rare force of nature who not only graced the bills of Woodstock and OZZfest, but also Shiprocked! and Sonic Temple and some of the largest stages around the globe. Along the way, they’ve notably collaborated with everyone from members of Deftones, Daughtry, and Staind to Alter Bridge, Periphery, and Xzibit. The year 2020 saw them deliver one of the most-acclaimed albums of their career with Blood & Stone, which Metal Hammer christened “Sevendust’s best work in years” and Outburn dubbed “everything a Sevendust fan could want.” The Atlanta quintet—Lajon Witherspoon (lead vocals), Clint Lowery (lead guitar, backing vocals), John Connolly (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums)—defy expectations yet again on their fourteenth full-length and debut album for Napalm Records, Truth Killer.
Every ending sparks a new beginning. Return to Dust embodies the sound of shedding the weight of the past while embracing the promise of tomorrow. The Los Angeles-based quartet—Matty Bielawski (guitar, vocals), Graham Stanush (bass, vocals), Sebastian Gonzalez (guitar), and London Hudson (drums) — brings a fresh perspective to alternative rock.
The band settled in Los Angeles to record with producer Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Danny Worsnop, Night Riots, Helmet). 2024 saw them unveil their independent self-titled full-length debut, Return to Dust, including standout single “Belly Up” which rose through the Active Rock chart and was praised by Distorted Sound as “a grungy, punky thrill ride,” while Revolver applauded the group’s “Alice in Chains-inspired form of modern-day grunge.”
In the aftermath, they lit up the stages at major festivals like Inkarceration, Welcome to Rockville, and Sonic Temple and joined rock legends Chevelle and Sevendust as support on tour. Signing to LAVA Records/Republic Records with more music on the horizon, the group is poised to stand at the forefront of the next generation of rock music, beginning with their 2025 EP Speak Like the Dead.
