PORTER COUNTY- On September 20th, at 7:30 a.m., a hit and run crash occurred on I-80/94 near the 18 mile-marker.  A white Mitsubishi was reported to have side swiped a Kia and failed to stop. 

Yesterday evening (9/20/2020) at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Indiana State Police Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a person stating that they had been shot.  The caller was on I-80/94 near the 15.2 mile-marker which is near the Ripley St. exit ramp.

LAKE COUNTY- Yesterday (9/17/2020) evening at 11:57 p.m., an Indiana State Trooper stopped to check on what he thought was a disabled motorist on I-65 at the 216 mile-marker.  A license check of the vehicle, a silver 2006 Ford Mustang, revealed that the car had false registration.
