Governor Eric J. Holcomb and fitness icon Jake Steinfeld announced the three Indiana schools that were selected to each receive a $100,000 DON’T QUIT!® fitness center from the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils (NFGFC).

Key Contributors are Aramark, Knowledge Services and Wexford contract staff who work together with facility staff to not only provide essential services, but also demonstrate exceptional teamwork going above and beyond expectations.

Pendleton, Ind. - During the height of our COVID-19 difficulties, PNJCF Recreation Leader John Turner realized he had to try and lift the spirits of the staff and students at the facility. 

Undoubtedly, COVID-19 changed the entire landscape of education almost overnight! School districts everywhere were forced to close their physical doors and re-open as virtual educational institutions! The team at the Gary Community School Corporation rose to the occasion with the unwavering support of parents, students and our entire school community! WE ARE STILL STANDING!

On March 12, 2020, the Auditorium Theatre closed its doors to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have not hosted an event or performance since, and it may be some time before we are able to safely do so again.
