Comedy about friends watching the NYC Pride Parade will take place on the traditional day of Chicago’s Pride Parade

Following the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless other Black people across the country and the protests that have resulted from these injustices, the Purdue University Northwest Community would like to extend our support to our Black students, faculty, staff, families and communities.

Based on guidance from the city, state, and federal agencies regarding the ongoing health crisis, Lyric Opera of Chicago’s general director, president, and CEO, Anthony Freud, has made the difficult decision to cancel performances in the Lyric Opera House from September to December in Lyric’s 2020/21 Season.
