Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) staff are being given tokens of appreciation to show that all IDOC staff are in this together. Their dedication to the mission of the Department, even in a time such as this, is something that needs to be acknowledged. Commissioner Carter defined Silent Heroes as those individuals who work tirelessly to support the Mission of the agency without complaining, or appearing in the spotlight.
