Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana has added to its professional family by hiring two new Club directors to fill vacancies at its East Chicago and Lake Station Clubs. Ronnie Nixon accepted the position at the East Chicago Katherine House Club, and Dan Welch will fill the role at Lake Station.

**** Recommended **** The Goodman Theatre’s new production, “Roe”, should be on everyone’s must-see list.  Going in, I wasn’t looking forward to seeing this play because I thought it would be all strident and heavy, and yes, politically correct, but it wasn’t.  I never cared about the people involved in “Roe v Wade, but this play about two very different women, brought those very real people behind the Supreme Court ruling to life.  It was human and poignant and even-handed, even though parts were both strident and political (causing some in the audience to lose their minds).  My friend Helen liked it so much she recommended it to some of her friends!  4 Spotlights

(Walkerton) Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) crash which occurred sometime over the weekend near 33880 Union Road. A 74 year old male was located at the scene and pronounced deceased.

LaPorte County Coroner's Office made notification of the next of kin for the driver of the Chevrolet Blazer on February 13, 2020. He is identified as Steven A. Kowalkoski, of Champaign, IL. The semi was parked/disabled at the time of the crash.
