The Superintendent of the Indiana State Police, Anthony M. Scott, has announced the promotion of Sergeant Matthew J. “Joe” Loyd to the rank of First Sergeant. 

The Superintendent of the Indiana State Police, Anthony M. Scott, has announced the promotion of First Sergeant Christopher D. Cecil to the rank of Lieutenant. 

Friday morning, the Indiana State Police SWAT Team and Detectives with the Indiana State Police Investigation Division Lowell Post were requested by the Illinois State Police to assist with the apprehension of a suspect involved in an interstate shooting that had recently occurred in Illinois.
