The health and safety of our Auditorium Theatre patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers is our priority. With the increasing risk posed by COVID-19, we have postponed numerous performances and events, including American Ballet Theatre and our Historic Theatre Tours.
At the direction of the governor and following recommendations from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), all 12 locations of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites will be temporarily closed beginning March 17 in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

Despite the forced closure of the Gary Community School Corporation, the District is committed to making food to available to students. GCSC has partnered with local churches and organizations that will serve as daily food distribution sites. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to youth ages 18 and younger Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. A list of sites can be found on the school district's website.

In keeping with the government’s guidelines regarding the COVID-19 virus, the board of directors of Footlight Players has decided to cancel the closing weekend (20th-22md) of it’s production of “Gypsy”.
