Auditions are Monday, June 21 or Tuesday, June 22 at 7:00pm. If you are interested in auditioning or have any questions, please email jcasey@towletheater.org or call the theater at 219-937-8780. Auditions are open to anyone ages 12-18 (candidates should be in this age range at the time the show performs) from Indiana or Illinois, public, private or home schooled. All are welcomed. Upon scheduling your audition date, you will be sent a conflict calendar which must be filled out and brought with you to auditions. Performances are August 20, 21, 27, 28 at 8pm and 22, 29 at 2pm. You must be available for all shows and every evening the week of August 16. All other conflicts will be considered. Those who audition and don’t make the cast or anyone interested in off-stage/back-stage involvement will work on small committees for the show including box office, tech and PR/marketing.
Auditions will take place at the Towle Theater; 5205 Hohman Avenue, Hammond IN. If you would like to audition, please prepare a memorized 1-minute contemporary monologue. You may be asked to read from the script.

At its heart, subText is a reminder that "love is a lot of things, but it is rarely a thing of convenience.
Since 2010, the Towle Youth Theater Ensemble, or TYTE, has been wowing NWI audiences with productions such as the Northwest Indiana Premiere of Jason Robert Brown’s 13, Anne of Green Gables, Laughing Stock & Clue the Musical and the World Premiere of Mental by Towle Youth Theater Ensemble Member, Isabel Zuniga.
