The suspect presented a note to the teller and demanded money while implying that he had a gun. The suspect fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
Later that evening, Munster officers along with assistance from the public and other investigatory means, were able to identify the suspect. At approximately 9:00PM, Munster officers along with Hammond Police officers served a search warrant in Hammond where the suspect was taken into custody.
