Get in on the bidding fun with Bishop Noll Institute's Big Reinvent 2, a virtual event and auction.  Items are added often and bidding will open May 6th and end May 15th

More than 60 items will be up for bid at Bishop Noll's largest single day fundraiser of the year. During this special evening, Bishop Noll alumni and friends around the country can help raise essential funds for the Principal’s Scholarship Fund.

Up for grabs this year is a Sanibel Island, Florida, vacation rental. Other items include dining experiences, golfing packages, specialty libations, sports memorabilia, gift cards and Bishop Noll themed prizes.

Participating in the event is easy, COVID safe and can be done from the comfort of home. Visit the auction site - bigevent100.givesmart.com - to preview auction items with photos and descriptions. After registering for a free account, site users can “watch” their favorite items to receive alerts and bidding updates. Items are added often and bidding will open May 6 and end May 15 during the event's livestream. Once bidding opens, the site allows users to set up maximum bids if desired.

“When we had to turn this traditional event into a virtual one last year, we had so much to learn,” said Mary Ellen O'Neill, the school's director of advancement. “Our team quickly pivoted to put on a spectacular online fundraiser that far exceeded its goal and our expectations. We look forward to making the Big Reinvent 2 even bigger and better this year with more auction items and some fun surprises. If people want to help, we have several sponsorship opportunities available and we are still looking for donations of additional auction items.”

Auction item donations and sponsorships/cash gifts can be made online at bigevent100.givesmart.com and by contacting the Advancement Department at advancement@bishopnoll.org or (219) 932-9058.

The proceeds from the fundraiser play a vital role in providing scholarships to students, making a private Catholic education affordable to many Northwest Indiana and south suburban families. Last year, due to the grips of the COVID-19 virus and the inability to convene an onsite gathering, organizers had to postpone the Big Event from its regular date in April and transitioned to a fully virtual event in May. The Big Reinvent, as it was branded, raised more than $70,000 thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends around the country.

Another way to help is by purchasing tickets to the Warrior Winnings Raffle, which will be drawn the evening of the event. Prizes of $5,000, $1,000 and $500 will be awarded. Tickets are $10 each, or three for $20, or 10 for $50. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the main office of Bishop Noll, 1519 Hoffman St. in Hammond, or via a mail in order form.

Call (219) 932-9058 or email advancement@bishopnoll.org to arrange for tickets. (Indiana Raffle License #000575) Due to Indiana gaming regulations, raffle tickets cannot be sold online or purchased using a credit card.
