Footlight Players Presents "110 Stories" Docu-Play Focusing on 9/11

Footlight Players is pleased to present “110 Stories” by Sarah Tuft. This powerful docu-play focuses on how 9/11 directly impacted the lives of twenty-six individuals who were at the catastrophic event. 

This show is the directorial debut of Footlight board member, Alayna Lauritsen. Alayna has been involved with Footlight, on stage, backstage, in the tech booth, and at the director’s table since she was 14 years old. “I think it’s really important to recognize how our country was impacted by this event, on an individual level,” Alayna said. “It was really important to me to bring this story to our community.” Please join the cast and crew of “110 Stories” for this powerful first-person telling of rescuers and survivors at ground zero on 9/11. Please note that the script includes strong language and descriptions of violence.

Productions will run August 16-18 at Footlight Theater at 1705 Franklin Street in Michigan City. Tickets are $15, or $10 with a student or college ID. The Friday show will be at 7pm CDT, with the Saturday and Sunday shows are at 2pm CDT. This show will be performed as a staged reading. The cast and crew of 110 Stories includes Ella Crane as assistant director, Bobbi Ann Lauritsen as producer, Shane Beecher as lighting operator, production assistant Cassie Jones, and story tellers: Ruth Best, Sue Carpenter Rick Henderson, Diana Hirsch, Anthony Holt, Ericka Kilbourne, Bobbi Lauritsen, Tom LeDonne, Kenzie Losinski, Laura Meyer, Christina Ortega, and Ken Siegfried.
