"Going Bacharach," co-created by Will Friedwald, Adrian Galante, Teddy Firth and Jack Lewin, is a fast-moving production. It captures the audience's attention from the moment the band plays the opening instrumental medley of Bacharach's songs to the final note at the concert's end.
Singers starring in the production are John Pagano, who was a longtime vocalist for Burt Bacharach's concerts through the years, Ava Locknar and Ta-Tynisa Wilson. Co-creator Galante, who also plays the piano and clarinet in the show, is also the music director of the production.
While the show is performed just as a concert would be, there is also a bit of speaking to the audience as the performers occasionally give some background about certain songs and Bacharach's career.
