Munster Parks & Recreation upcoming programs include a travel show, day trips and a musical.  

Where Will You Travel This Year? Find out at our Travel Show!

The world's the limit! Come hear about the exciting places you can go with Mayflower Cruises & Tours during a FREE Travel Presentation on Thursday, January 30, 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the Munster Town Hall. You will meet our travel representative as she presents our newest travel destinations and other tour offerings.

Did you know you can travel anywhere you want with Mayflower? You do not have to limit yourself to our selected tours. If you have another place in mind, please give us a call and we will explore the options together! Call (219) 836-7275.

Upcoming Day Trips & Shows:

Tour Thrift Wednesday, February 26 10:15 am to 6:15 pm
Visit four Thrift Stores in Chicago: The Potter's Hand, the Salvation Army, 63rd Street Thrift and Hope's Thrift Boutique. We will stop for lunch in between shops where you will chose and pay for your meal. Bus trip includes transportation only! We highly recommend bringing a big bag or two for all your treasures! Registration Deadline: February 17

Drury Lane Lunch and Show!

Juliette Gordon Low Lunch & Show Friday, March 21 1:00-3:00 pm

Come see Betsey Means as Juliette Gordon Low. A wealthy socialite of the United States and Great Britain, Juliette spent most of her life enjoying the recreations of the privileged classes. After meeting the founder of the Boy Scouts, Sir Robert Baden-Powell, she discovered a social cause to which she would devote the rest of her life. An enthusiastic organizer and fundraiser, she led the formation of the Girl Scouts of the USA in 1912. By the time of her death, the Girl Scouts had become a successful national organization with thousands of members. Enjoy a special GS treat for dessert!
