Have You Tried NoveList?
NoveList is a search tool that lets you find books based on things like writing style or genre. You can even find author readalikes!
You Asked, We Answered!
Question: Do you have any resources for people with questions about coming-out, figuring out your identity, or LGBT+ topics in general?
Answer: Yes! We have a wide variety of books and other items that discuss the LGBTQ+ experience from a historical, personal, or fictional standpoint, from educational guides to movies and novels.
You can browse our catalog for titles, or if you'd like to let us know a few more details (like whether you're looking for items for kids, teens, or adults; fiction or nonfiction; etc) we can make a more specific recommendation.
We've also partnered with PFLAG Crown Point-NWI to host a monthly support and discussion group for LGBTQ+ teens on the 2nd Monday of every month via Zoom. If you're a teen, feel free to sign up for July's meeting online, or contact PFLAG directly for more information!
