Lubeznik Center for the Arts Hosts Ladies' Sip & Shop

Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) invites the public for a Ladies' Sip & Shop on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central.

Everyone, the guys too, are welcome to enjoy mimosas, bagels and a day of shopping. Local vendors will be onsite with a "trunk" of special goodies to help you pick the perfect items.

One local artist participating in the Trunk Show is ceramicist Marlaina Mathisen. Marlaina creates colorful, unique and purposeful pieces that are inspired by nature. Her beautiful, handmade ceramics are the perfect gift for someone special.

Also participating is Line Mullins Group INTERIØR, located at 823 Franklin Street in Michigan City, is a lifestyle boutique with apparel, home goods and gifts for all ages! They will bring some of their favorite items to the sale.

 

Rita Cochran will be showing her collection featuring purposeful fashion made from recycled materials. Using texture, color and just pure fun, Rita's creations reflect the whimsical nature of being young at heart. Items include women's hats, sweaters, scarves, and skirts. For children they have dresses, sweaters and stuffed animal kitties. The collection also includes felted Christmas trees, and pillows.

 

Brising Designs will bring a variety of beaded and felted wearables. Skylar Bre'z and Jaynee Michaels create one-of-a-kind fiber fashions with the goal of making every wearer realize their unique beauty, strength, and individual power. Their felt and up-cycled fashions are unique, and sure to make a statement with any outfit!

 

Certified Reiki practitioner, Geralyn Salas will be present one-of-a-kind crystal jewelry with healing energy.
