This past December 5th, police officers and Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) from the Munster Police Department participated in Munster’s annual “Light the Night” event in front of the Munster Town Hall. The event was organized by the Munster Chamber of Commerce, Munster Parks & Recreation, and the Munster Civic Foundation.
The event included visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, costumed characters, the lighting of the tree, vendor tables, inflatables, a live reindeer, and hot chocolate that was sponsored by The Salvation Army.
Our officers and VIPS had a great time speaking with the participants along with visiting with Olaf and the live reindeer.
