This past month, Safewise.com released their ten safest cities list for each state in the United States which was their 10th year of doing so. Their rankings as based on property and violent crime rates over past three years.
Munster was ranked by their website as the #5 Safest City in Indiana after ranking #11 in 2023. We are very proud to be named among the safest communities and appreciate the continued support of our policing efforts from the members of our community.
