About Guarneri Hall:
Founded in 2018, Guarneri Hall NFP (GH) is a Chicago not-for-profit classical music incubator that creates context and contemporary relevance for classical music through innovative application of technology and re-imagined engagement with audiences across a range of educational and performance programs. GH acts as an advocate, facilitator, and catalyst for classical music through its education programs, music video production, world-class live performances, and general advocacy for emerging performers and music educators.
GH operates from Guarneri Hall, a custom-built, technologically advanced 60-seat space in the heart of Chicago’s Loop. Designed by Chicago firm Threshold Acoustics, Guarneri Hall is an optimal environment for capturing audiophile-quality sound recording, and high definition, multi-camera video of live performances in which musicians and audiences connect and interact meaningfully in a uniquely intimate space. These facilities provide an excellent proving ground for emerging talent and allow GH to assist artists with career development using powerful in-house tools and capabilities.
Guarneri Hall NFP is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
