Rosemont's Parkway Bank Park Kicks Off The Fall Season with Festive Lineup of New & Returning Events

Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place) will kick off the fall season with a series of festive events in early September including the debut of Windy City Market on Saturday, September 6 and Saturday, September 13, and the return of the beloved Battle of the Bags cornhole tournament on Sunday, September 7 and Family Fall Fest on Sunday, September 14. All events will take place on the Park’s great lawn. 

New this year, Windy City Market will bring together a vibrant community of artists, makers and vintage curators from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both dates. Shoppers can browse unique, handcrafted goods while supporting small businesses in a lively, open-air setting.

Parkway Bank Park will host its annual “Battle of the Bags” cornhole tournament on Sunday, September 7. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with the tournament starting at 12 p.m. The competitive division ($80 per team) will offer up to $5,000 in cash prizes. The social division ($40 per team) features a variety of prizes including cash and gift certificates.    

On Sunday, September 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Family Fall Fest invites families for an afternoon of interactive seasonal activities including bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, balloon sculptors, pumpkin painting and more. Live music will be provided by Jeanie B! and The Jelly Beans, a high-energy children’s band known for their catchy, family-friendly songs.
