
On Friday, May 30, 2025, Trooper Bradley Howell and fellow troopers from the Indiana State Police Lafayette Post arrested two individuals in Waynetown, Indiana, on multiple drug-related charges, including dealing methamphetamine.
Following a thorough investigation, Trooper Howell secured a search warrant for a residence located on Liberty Street in Waynetown. Upon executing the warrant, troopers safely located and detained James Potter, 53, and Jessica Potter, 40. During the search, troopers recovered suspected methamphetamine, unidentified pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The suspected methamphetamine and unidentified pills will be sent to the Indiana State Police Laboratory for precise analysis of weight and composition.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by additional troopers from the Lafayette Post and the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office during the investigation.
