The South Bend Civic Theatre presents The Play That Goes Wrong, by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, & Henry Shields.
This production of The Play That Goes Wrong is presented by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service under license from Mischief Worldwide Ltd.
The fictitious Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society has received a substantial bequest and is putting on a performance of a 1920s murder mystery play. During the performance, a play within a play, a plethora of disasters befall the cast, including doors sticking, props falling from the walls, and floors collapsing, leading to a predictably ridiculous but hilarious climax. Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!
Directed by William Heimann
