White County - Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation in May 2026, after receiving information of allegations of sexual assault.
The investigation revealed that Ryan B. Davenport, age 53, Terre Haute, Indiana, had allegedly forced himself on a female for sexual gratification. This alleged incident took place in White County.
After reviewing the investigation, a White County Judge approved Davenport’s arrest. He was arrested yesterday and transported without incident to the White County Jail by Trooper Bonebrake of the Putnamville State Police Post and is currently being held without bond.
Investigating Officer was Indiana State Police Master Trooper Detective Daniel Magnabosco of the Putnamville Post. He was assisted by Trooper Detectives Don Curtis, Colton Maynor and Sergeant Michael Featherling.
