The Chesterton Art Center is offering monthly children's art classes taught by Jennifer Aitchison throughout the school year. The Art Center will be zooming live virtual classes in March. (On-site classes may be added later when it is safe to do so.)

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Executive Director Angel Ysaguirre, announces the online premiere of its Spotlight Podcast. A key component of Court’s community engagement work, the Spotlight Series—which has in the past brought staged readings from BIPOC playwrights to local communities on Chicago’s South and West sides—has been reimagined for 2021 as a series of four audio podcast episodes directed and performed by local theatre artists.

Due to the ongoing challenges created by the pandemic, Paramount Theatre announced today the reschedule of its June 2021 non-Broadway shows to March of 2022.
We don't know exactly how William Shakespeare died. One theory is that he died after contracting a fever following a drinking binge with fellow playwrights Ben Jonson and Michael Drayton. Another is that he was ill for over a month before he died, indicated by the fact that Shakespeare dictated his will just 4 weeks before his death in April 1616.*
