The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation named the Chicago Fire Football Club a finalist in the 21st annual Citizens Awards, a long-standing program that honors businesses for the impact they make in communities around the world. Chicago Fire FC, specifically through the Chicago Fire Foundation, was nominated in the category of Best Commitment to Education Program. This is the first time in 21 years that a sports team has been named a finalist in this category.

Tippecanoe County - Earlier this evening (9/28/2020), around 5:30 p.m., Trooper Matthew Clemans had stopped a white 2018 Dodge Charger on I-65, southbound near the 171 mile marker, for multiple traffic violations. Further investigation would reveal that the driver, Nathaniel Chavoues, 23 of Lexington, KY, did not have a valid driver's license.

Indiana FSSA has joined forces with Feeding Indiana’s Hungry to encourage Hoosiers to answer the urgent call to volunteer at one of Indiana’s food banks and other charitable food distribution sites.  Since we first placed this call to service on Sept. 14, more than 450 Hoosiers have volunteered! But several hundred more are still needed to help fully staff our state’s food banks as members of the Indiana National Guard end their temporary, six-month deployment.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is updating the state rail plan to guide the improvement of freight and passenger rail investments in rural and urban areas throughout the Hoosier state. The previous state rail plan was released in 2017. Federal law requires an update every four years.
