Tippecanoe County - The pursuit began this Friday evening, October 9th, just after 8:30 p.m., when Trooper Corey Brown attempted to stop a motorcycle that was traveling 86 mph on Schuyler Avenue in Lafayette. However, the driver, identified as Joshua Dilden, 30 of Lafayette, IN, failed to stop.

Friday afternoon, October 9th, detectives from the Indiana State Police Lowell Post made an arrest after an intensive two-week investigation into the fatal interstate shooting that occurred on September 20th along I-80/94 in Lake County. 

The Indiana Department of Transportation today unveiled signs officially naming U.S. Highway 20 as the “Medal of Honor Memorial Highway” across Northern Indiana. A naming ceremony and sign unveiling took place Friday along U.S. 20 in Angola with federal, state and local officials as well as Hoosier veterans’ groups taking part.
