In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Underscore Theatre Company today announced it will postpone its upcoming world premiere of Notes & Letters, originally scheduled to run April 17 – May 23, 2020 at The Understudy, 4609 N. Clark St. in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. Underscore is working to reschedule the production. The company’s “March Madness Tiny Storefront Concert Series,” has also been postponed,

On Thursday, March 19, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) in paving the way for licensed distilleries to produce ethanol-based hand sanitizer. Journeyman Distillery started bottling sanitizer that same day. “There was no question about what we would do,” said Journeyman founder, Bill Welter.
