The staff and offenders at Miami Correctional Facility (MCF) are working together to fight the spread of COVID19. MCF has cleaning crews with both staff and offenders working around the clock.
Although they don't seek out recognition or accolades, they are the people behind the scenes who help the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) operate. Major Douglas Wardlow was recognized as a Silent Hero at the Indiana State Prison.
To show support and appreciation for employees working in correctional facilities, members of the department of correction Staff Development & Training (SD&T) team are visiting correctional facilities across Indiana.
